No, eSIMs generally cannot be reinstalled. We strongly advise against removing any eSIM that you still intend to use.
Once an eSIM is deleted from your device, you might face issues when trying to download it again. You will need to purchase, install, and activate a new eSIM to regain access to mobile networks at your destination.
We suggest temporarily disabling the eSIM when it’s not in use. Note that the validity period of your eSIM does not pause when you disable it temporarily.
Why you should not remove an eSIM you still want to use
Unlike traditional physical SIM cards that can be easily swapped between devices, eSIMs are linked to the device’s hardware and cannot be reinstalled or transferred easily.
When an eSIM’s validity period ends, or it runs out of data, you can top it up with a new data package. To purchase a top-up, go to My eSIMs > TOP UP and choose the desired package.
