How can I remove an eSIM from my iOS device?

You can safely remove an eSIM from your device under the following circumstances:

  1. No Active Data Package:
    • Ensure the eSIM no longer has an active data package. When you purchase an eSIM from Wowo Sim, it comes with a data package ready to be activated. Check your Wowo Sim account (via the app or website) to see if the data package is still active. If it is, do not delete the eSIM from your device.
  2. No Longer Needed:
    • Some Wowo Sim eSIMs can only be used once and cannot be topped up. Once you have used the data, you can remove these eSIMs. Additionally, if you have an eSIM you no longer plan to use, it can be safely removed.
  3. New eSIM for the Same Country/Region:
    • When purchasing a new eSIM, you will receive a new profile each time, which needs to be installed. To avoid confusion, it’s best to remove the old eSIM and start fresh.

To remove an eSIM from your iOS device, follow these steps:

  1. Go to your device’s Settings.
  2. Select Mobile/Cellular.
  3. Tap on the eSIM you want to delete.
  4. Choose “Remove Mobile Data Plan” or a similar option like “Remove eSIM” or “Delete Mobile Plan.”
