What should I do if I can’t scan my QR Code?

If you are unable to scan the provided QR code, you can manually install the eSIM. For Android devices, enter the eSIM installation details manually. For iOS devices, you can use either the Direct method or the manual method. Here’s how to manually install the eSIM:

For iOS:

  1. Go to the My eSIMs tab in the app or website to find your Manual Installation details.
  2. Open Settings on your device.
  3. Go to Cellular or Mobile.
  4. Select Add Cellular/Mobile Plan.
  5. Choose Enter Details Manually and enter the following:
    • SM-DP+ Address
    • Activation Code
    • Confirmation Code (if available)
  6. Enable your eSIM under Cellular/Mobile Plan.
  7. Select your eSIM for Cellular/Mobile data.
  8. Enable Data Roaming (turn off your primary line to avoid roaming charges when overseas).
  9. Set up an APN (access point name) if required. APN details can be found in the eSIM installation details.

For Android:

  1. Go to the My eSIMs tab in the app or website to find your Manual Installation details.
  2. Open Settings on your device.
  3. Tap on Network & Internet.
  4. Tap the Add icon next to Mobile Network.
  5. When asked, “Don’t have a SIM card?” tap Next.
  6. Select Enter Code Manually and enter the QR code information (SM-DP+ Address) from the Manual Installation tab.
  7. Enable your eSIM under Mobile Network.
  8. Enable Mobile data.
  9. Enable Data Roaming (turn off your primary line to avoid roaming charges when overseas).
  10. Set up an APN (access point name) if required. APN details can be found in the eSIM installation details.
