What should I do if I’m seeing the ‘Unable to Complete Cellular Plan Change’ error message?

This error typically indicates an installation failure, which can occur due to several reasons:

  1. Too many eSIMs installed on the device: While eSIM-compatible devices allow multiple eSIM installations, the number of active eSIMs varies by model. For instance, iPhones can store between 5 to 10 eSIMs depending on the device’s storage capacity. For detailed information, please consult your phone manufacturer. If your device’s eSIM storage is full, you may need to remove old eSIMs.
  2. Cellular/Mobile data is disabled: Ensure that cellular or mobile data is enabled in your device settings.
  3. Attempting to install an already installed eSIM: Most eSIMs can only be installed once. To check if the eSIM is already installed, go to Settings > General > About, and scroll down to find the ICCID (a 20-digit number starting with 89 and ending with a random digit). If the ICCID is listed, refer to your eSIM installation page for further instructions.
